The Unfunctional Book

Is design art, or is art design? The Unfunctional Book challenges this debate with two opposing op-eds: “Design as Art” and “Design is Not Art.” This book explores how art can be designed, and design can be art—sometimes, it only seems nonfunctional because it functions in an unexpected way. With overlapping red and blue text that appears unreadable at first glance, the book plays with perception. But put on a pair of red and blue glasses, and suddenly, the text becomes clear. It’s a book that looks cool, feels confusing, and ultimately proves that function is all about perspective.

Also hand bound :)
